I am an avid downhill snow skier. I also like working with teens in youth ministry.

I have been in the industry my whole life. I started going to beauty college when I was a junior in high school and graduated from high school and tech school at about the same time in California. My first job was at Coiffures by Pauline on Douglas Ave in Racine. I then worked for Pauline on Washington Ave for 2 years. My next adventure was to be a barber apprentice at The Captain's Chair. I completed the apprenticeship program, got my journeyman's license, my Master Barber's license and finally my Manager's license. After 20 years at The Captain's Chair I decided to buy my own business. I bought out Designs by Dolly beauty salon at 6100 Washington ave in Pioneer Village and named my new business The Cutting Edge. After 8 years at that location I bought a house at our present location, took the year to gut it, remodel it and finally moved in on November of 2006. I am very excited about the future in this location and the wonderful team I have behind me.
